cPGuard Web Application Firewall (WAF)

Web applications must be effectively protected against malware, botnets, and hacker attacks at all times.

The Web Application Firewall from cPGuard is based on Malware.Experts commercial rules.

These rules provide powerful, real-time protection for web applications and websites running on cPanel with ModSecurity. They also include optimised security for applications like WordPress, Drupal and Joomla.

If you'd like to see how the WAF is protecting your website, you can do so via the cPGuard dashboard.

Click on the WAF option from the main menu:

Any security issues triggered by vulnerabilities on your site will be listed in the logs:

You can see the IP address of the hacker and the reason why the request was blocked.

To get more detailed information, you can export the log to a CSV file. This will provide you with the page URI that was requested and further information as to why the request was blocked.
