All outgoing email from our servers (the email you send) is checked for spam before it is sent.
This shields your domain from being blacklisted and maintains the reputation of our email service. If you send an email that seems to contain spam-like content, it may be blocked before we even try to deliver it.
The bounce-back message will contain an error similar to the following:
Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
someone@somewhere.com.au
host smtp.mailchannels.net [54.188.79.198]
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
550 5.7.1 [CS] Message blocked. If this is a false positive, please report this to your hosting service provider. SeeĀ https://console.mailchannels.net/insights/bounce?auid=uptimewebhostingptyltd
&sender=&txid=0
In the error message, you will find a link to report the email as a 'False Positive'. Click the link to open a page that will look like the following:

At the top left of the screen, you will see the cause of the block; in this case, it's Spam Content.
Check that the From, To, and Subject are correct and then click on the red Not Spam button to release the email and send it.
Your email will now be sent.
However, the receiving email server may still classify your email as spam, and it will either be rejected or delivered to their junk mail folder.
