Sometimes, legitimate emails can be blocked by your spam filter. If you trust the sender, you can add them to your white list in cPanel. This will allow their emails to arrive in your inbox instead of being classified as spam.
Note: Whitelisting can only be set on your domain, not an individual account.
- First, you will need to log in to your cPanel account
- In the Email section, click on Spam Filters
- At the bottom of the screen, click on Show Additional Configurations:
- In the Whitelist section, click on Edit Spam Whitelist Settings:
- Click on Add A New "white_from" Item
- Type in the email address, or you can type in an asterisk and @ symbol followed by the domain name to accept all emails from that domain:
For example, this will accept all emails from uptimewebhosting.com.au and never mark them as spam. - Finally, click on Update Whitelist
