Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.


When configuring your PHP environment, you may see the following error message on your website:

To resolve this, you will need to enable the MySQL extension in your PHP settings.

Follow these steps to fix the error:

  • Log in to cPanel
  • Scroll down to the Software section and click on Select PHP Version.
  • Now click on the Extensions tab:
  • Ensure the mysqli extension is ticked:

Your website should no longer be showing the error message.
