Third party services like Google Search Console, Analytics, Office 365 and many others will want you to verify you own your domain before you can use their services.
This is typically done by adding the values they give you to add to your DNS.
Edit Your DNS
To get started, first log in to your cPanel:

Now scroll down to the Domains section and click on Zone Editor:
Then click on Manage next to the domain you need to verify:
Usually there a two different types of records they may ask you to add. A TXT record or a CNAME record.
Add a TXT record
In the Zone Editor you will see an Add Record button. Click the down arrow on the button:
Then select TXT from the list of options:
You will now see the Add Record box:
In the Valid zone name box, paste in the Name value.
Sometimes this is an @ symbol. In this case, type in your full domain name.
For any other name, make sure you add your domain name to the end of the name. The Zone Editor will do this for you automatically.
Then in the Text box, paste the value they have provided.
Here's some examples, replace yourdomain.com.au with your actual domain name.

Value: verify=jd8j2017lfdgas93jc762hd9whj20fmnw8
Name: verifyme
Value: verify=jd8j2017lfdgas93jc762hd9whj20fmnw8
Once you've added the required name and value, click the Save Record button.
Add a CNAME record
In the Zone Editor you will see an Add Record button. Click the down arrow on the button:
Then select CNAME from the list of options:
You will now see the Add Record box:
In the Valid zone name box, paste in the Name value, make sure you add your domain name to the end of the name. The Zone Editor will do this for you automatically.
Then in the Fully qualified domain name box, paste the domain they have provided.
Warning: If the Name they are asking you to enter is a www. record this will redirect traffic away from your hosting.
Here's some examples, replace yourdomain.com.au with your actual domain name.

Value: xyzhost.somehost.com
Once you've added the required name and value, click the Save Record button.
