A cPanel VPS may display trial license due to cPanel database not updated. Solve this issue by following guidelines.
Sometimes on a newly provisioned cPanel VPS it will display trial license. This is due to the cPanel database not updating quickly enough during the setup process.
If this occurs you can contact support and have us update the license status, or you can do this yourself.
To do this yourself first SSH into the server and then type this command:
/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
Now fresh the page in WHM in your browser by holding down CTRL and clicking F5. This will now show as licensed.
