Using The Password Module

Passwords are stored under each client's account.

Search for a client and open their Client Profile. In the Other Actions box you will see the Passwords link:

Click the Passwords action to open the client's password list.  Initially, there will be no passwords.

Clicking Back will take you back to the client profile.
Click Add New to add a new password.

The Password fields are as follows:

Name: This is the name of the password and is the only required field.

Username: The username to use when logging

Password: The password to log in with (Use the Generate Password button to create a new random password)

URL: The link to the website to log in to.

IP: The IP address is required

Notes: Any notes you would like to store with the password. (Uses markdown).

Icon: The Icon that will show with the password. Click on any of the provided samples or use the search link to open the FontAwesome version 5 search.

Admin Access: Set who can see the password.  All Administrators will allow any administrator to view the password.  You can change this to be the Administrator group you currently belong to.  Only other administrators in the same group can see this password.  Note, if  you set the Client Visible option, then All Administrators is the only option.

Client Visible: This password is visible to the client in their client area, and they can edit the Username, Password and URL.

Client To Complete: When the client logs in to their client area home screen, they are prompted to fill in the password details. Once they have edited the password, this switch will be turned off automatically.

Click the Add New button to create the password. The new password will now be displayed in the list.

From the password list, you can visually see which passwords the client can access and if the password is waiting to be completed by the client.

There is no limit to the number of passwords you can add for a client:

To aid you in quickly finding a password in the list, you can use the search box at the top of the screen:

To view a password, click on it:

Only fields that have data are shown.

You can double-click on any field value to copy it to the clipboard:

Click the Edit icon at the top right to edit the password or the close icon to close the pop-up window.
