Turn Off Resource Monitoring Emails

About once a week, you will receive an email from the web server if your account has exceeded its resource limits.

Click here to read more about monitoring your website resources.

If your website runs it's own backup plugins or performs intensive tasks the resources may run low while the work is performed. Typically, you will see a low number of warnings regarding disk speed or CPU usage when this happens.

If your hosting resources are okay, you can turn off the notifications by following the steps below. If you need more resources, you may need to upgrade your plan.

Disable Resource Email Notifications

  1. Log into cPanel
  2. Scroll down to the Metrics section and click Resource Usage
  3. Select the Options tab
  4. Untick the Notify me when I hit my resource limits checkbox.
