How to set up and use Email Filters on cPanel


You can set up multiple rules on your email account to process emails as they arrive in your inbox.
Rules allow you to move emails to specific folders or automatically delete unwanted emails.

First, log in to your Email Configuration.

Now click on the Email Filters option

To create a new filter click on theĀ Create New Filter button.
Give your filter a name and set your Rules and Action and click on the Create button.

Some recommended filters to set up are as follows:

Delete all spam email
You can automatically delete all emails that the server detects as Spam.

Filter Name: Delete All Spam
Rule: Spam Status begins with Yes
Action: Discard Message

Move email from a specific address to a folder

Filter Name: Emails From <persons name>
Rule: From equals email address
Action: Deliver to Folder
