Installing WordPress on your web hosting account is as simple as clicking a button.
Just follow these steps, and you'll be logged in and blogging before you know it.
- Log in to your cPanel web hosting account.
- From the left-hand menu, click on WordPress Management.
- Click on Install.
- Select your domain and ensure the Installation Directory box is empty if you don't want to install WordPress in a subfolder.
Type in the name of your site and set the Language:
- Take note of the WordPress Administrator details and adjust as required.
Hint! Use the eye icon to see the admin password:
- Click on the Install button.
- WordPress will now install, and you can monitor the progress:
- When installed, you'll see the following message:
Click No, thanks for now. You can add Plugins later. - To log in to WordPress, click the Log In button:
WordPress is now installed and ready for you to start building your new website.
